The school follows the CBSE pattern of continuous and periodic assessment.
The academic year will be divided into:
There are two Terminal Examinations in one Academic viz. Half Yearly Examination and Annual Year Examination. In addition to these, two periodic tests carry 20% marks in the two examinations respectively.
• Periodic Tests (PT)
• Half-Yearly Examination
• Annual Examination
Students will be assessed on the basis of:
• Written examinations
• Class tests
• Homework and assignments
• Projects and practical work
• Class participation and discipline
• Final Result will be prepared by taking aggregate marks equally from the half yearly and annual examination marks.
• Two periodic tests carry 20% marks in the two examinations respectively.
• Pass Mark in each subject is 40%.
• Result will be given only on clearance of Tuition Fees, Absence fine etc. in all cases.
• Attendance of minimum 75% is mandatory to appear in the final examination.
• A student will be promoted to the next class if he/she passes in all subjects.
• Simple pass is awarded to Student whose marks are above the aggregate pass mark even if they fail in one subject.
• If a student fails in one or two subjects, he/she may be given a re-test/compartment examination.
• However, the student who score less than 25% in Maths or Science subjects will be declared failed.
• If a student fails in more than two subjects, he/she will be detained in the same class.
• Final decision regarding promotion will rest with the School Examination Committee.
Promotion will be based on:
• Regular attendance
• Oral and written assessment
• Overall performance and development
• Teacher’s observation
No student will be detained in pre-primary, but performance report will be shared with parents.
Students who fail in one or two subjects will be allowed to appear for improvement test.
The improvement exam will be conducted within 15 days after result declaration.
Marks obtained in improvement exam will be considered final.
Students absent without valid reason during examination will be marked ABSENT.
Re-exam will be allowed only on medical grounds with valid certificate.
If a student is found using unfair means:
• The paper will be cancelled.
• The student may be awarded zero marks.
• Strict disciplinary action will be taken.
Results will be declared as per the school academic calendar.
Report cards must be collected by parents on the given date.
No result will be given without clearance of school dues.
Students must wear proper school uniform during examinations.
Late entry after 15 minutes will not be allowed.
Parents’ request for promotion without passing criteria will not be entertained.
